With over 600 shows in 8 states the Alligator Zydeco Band is the best-known Zydeco band on the East Coast. The group is fronted by the father/daughter team Greg & Laura Troiano-a.k.a. the Snakeman & the Zydeco Girl, backed by a band of talented musicians. The AZB distinguishes itself from the majority of Zydeco acts by the use of all 3 types of accordion used in the genre. Add that with the dynamic Zydeco Girl on the rubboard you'll understand the ethusiatic reception the band receives where ever they go. The AZB is the only Zydeco band, outside of Louisiana, that has ever played the Jam on the River. It's their favorite gig and they want you to share their joy! |
